Make a silver locket Workshop

One day course to design and make a personalised silver locket with a swivelling lid. The course uses a range of techniques so a perfect way to learn or improve jewellery skills. It will be an intense but rewarding day. I will guide you to finish your locket, a gift for yourself or a loved one.

 The course is in two parts:

1. Learn different texturing techniques, initially in copper, for the lid of the locket.
2. Make the lid in silver, make a rivet and rivet the lid to the base of the locket.

Skills: You will learn hammering and rolling, rivetting, soldering and filing. Suitable for beginners-intermediates.

Provided: Copper sheet for test pieces. Silver for the locket including a pre-made silver base either 16mm, and a silver chain 45cm (18inch). There will be a small extra charge for the larger locket and longer chain which can be paid on the day.

Location: The course will be held at my workshop in West Hampstead, London. There is space for a maximum for 3 people. Timing will be 10am to 4pm with a short break for lunch.
